The guys went on a date at the Black Trumpet Bistro in Portsmouth, NH where Chef Evan Mallet shared his deep knowledge of local fish. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the food was excellent. We loved the mackerel and spiny dogfish dishes offered up by Evan, and his stories about the local slow fish movement and the approaches he takes to cooking under-appreciated fish were fascinating.
